BOOKING & PRICING

Pricing is based on several factors: the type of cleaning (standard, deep, post-construction, etc.), the size of the space, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the current condition of the property. For vacation rentals, pricing also accounts for turnaround time requirements.
We never give vague "starting from" prices — when we send you a quote, it's the actual number you'll pay.
No long-term contract is required for residential recurring service. We work on a schedule that fits you — weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly — and you can adjust or pause as needed. Commercial accounts may involve a service agreement depending on scope.
We accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and all major credit/debit cards. Payment is due at time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.

Deep cleans are ideal for move-ins, move-outs, first-time clients, or any space that hasn't been professionally cleaned in a while.
Yes — we come fully equipped with professional-grade cleaning products and equipment. If you have specific product preferences or sensitivities (fragrance-free, eco-friendly, etc.), just let us know when you book and we'll accommodate where possible.
SCHEDULING & LOGISTICS
We recommend booking at least 2–3 business days in advance for standard cleanings. For deep cleans, post-construction, or large vacation rental turnovers, 5–7 days is ideal. That said, we'll always try to accommodate shorter notice when our schedule allows — don't hesitate to reach out.
Not at all. Many of our clients provide us with a key or door code and aren't home when we clean. All our team members are background-checked and trusted to work independently. We'll notify you when we've arrived and when we're done.
Life happens — we get it. We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a small fee. We'll always work with you to find a new time that works.
We serve the entire Big Island of Hawai'i — from Hilo and Puna to Kona, Kohala, Waimea, Hāmākua, and Ka'ū. A travel fee may apply for locations far from Hilo. Check our service areas page for a full breakdown.
TRUST & SAFETY
Yes — Hilo Cleaning Co. is fully licensed and insured. We carry general liability insurance on all jobs. If anything is ever damaged during a cleaning, we'll address it promptly and professionally.
Yes — every team member goes through a thorough background check before their first day on the job. We take the security of your home and business seriously, and we only hire people we'd trust in our own homes.
We stand behind every cleaning we do. If you're not fully satisfied, contact us within 24 hours of your service and we'll return to re-clean any missed areas at no charge. Your satisfaction is our priority — always.
VACATION RENTALS
Yes — we specialize in same-day and back-to-back turnovers for vacation rentals. We coordinate directly with your check-out and check-in times to make sure the property is guest-ready on schedule.
Yes — we can restock toiletries, paper goods, and other guest amenities as part of your turnover service. Just provide us with your supplies or we can source standard items for a restocking fee.
Absolutely. After each turnover, we can send you a condition report noting any damage, broken items, or maintenance issues we noticed during the clean. This gives you visibility into your property's condition between guest stays.
